Red Road to Skye

Acrylic paint on linen

"I created this painting after my visit to Balmacara, a charming spot near Kyle of Lochalsh and the bridge to the Isle of Skye. It's the first in my collection inspired by this beautiful region of Scotland. In my artwork, I depict a vibrant red road—my artistic take on a regular asphalt path—surrounded by lush green vegetation and colourful spring flowers. At the centre, a striking white house draws the viewer's attention, symbolising the area's serenity and charm. This piece truly captures my admiration for Scotland's breathtaking landscapes and rich colours."
