Sheffield Culture (Part of Sheffield City Council)
Culture Sheffield is the cultural arm of Sheffield City Council, and we have been set up to co-deliver the Culture Strategy alongside organisations and freelancers in the region.
Our aim is to be an accountable voice for the sector in Sheffield, benefiting communities by increasing the visibility and accessibility of culture.

Millennium Gallery - Main Exhibition Venue
"The Millennium Gallery showcases the best in local, national and international creative talent and we are thrilled to host the ArtWorks Together International 2026 exhibition. Sheffield Museums has worked with ArtWorks on several projects over the years, and they are always brilliantly creative and ambitious – and by bringing together over 70 works by artists from 23 different countries, this exhibition absolutely follows that trend. Sheffield Train Station
Sheffield Railway Station is a major transport hub located in the heart of Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Opened in 1870 by the Midland Railway, it stands as one of the key stations in northern England. Serving as a gateway to the city and the Peak District beyond, Sheffield station connects passengers to major destinations including London, Manchester, Leeds, and Nottingham. It also provides tram links through the adjacent Sheffield Supertram stop, making it a central part of the city's public transport network.
The station today is operated by East Midlands Railway, and blends historic architecture with modern facilities, featuring an impressive Edwardian-style façade alongside a contemporary concourse and iconic water feature.

Yorkshire Artspace
Established in 1977, Yorkshire Artspace is a centre for art production and a
registered charity, providing industry-leading, affordable studio space for around 170
artists and makers across two sites in Sheffield city centre – Persistence Works and
Exchange Place Studios. Through an exciting programme of events and exhibitions,
we celebrate and share skilled contemporary art and design with the public and
deliver a programme of residencies, crits and community engagement as well as
offering subsidised facilities for contemporary visual artists and craft makers.

Rachael has worked within the arts and participatory sector for over 25 years led by
a belief that access to art and culture can be transformative and enrich people’s
lives. In her role at Yorkshire Artspace she oversees all aspects of the Programme
which includes exhibitions, residencies, community engagement and the incubation
support of emerging silversmiths and ceramicists.

Yorkshire and Humber Visual Arts Network (YVAN)
YVAN is a research-led infrastructure body for the visual arts in Yorkshire and the Humber. We are founded on the creative vision of individual artists and arts organisations. We prioritise individual practitioners, artists networks, small-scale initiatives and the artist-led.
YVAN is one of nine regions that make up Contemporary Visual Arts Network (CVAN) England who are part of a national alliance of visual arts networks from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
