"Most of my work is inspired by trains. I have loved them since childhood, and I began drawing them as soon as I could hold a pencil.
This is how I tell my story—about myself and my mother—through the language I love most: trains. In my work, they become a symbol of love, of strength and support.
I want to show that courage doesn’t always mean being without fear; sometimes, courage is choosing to keep dancing even when the storms come.
This painting is my reminder that in life, we cannot always avoid the storms. But we can choose who we face them with. And when we move through them with family—with love and acceptance—even the storm can become a beautiful dance."
