"Face is my way of showing how many feelings a person carries inside. Sometimes we feel happy, sometimes tired, confused, strong, or hopeful—all at the same time. In this painting, I used colours and strokes to express those mixed emotions that make us human. I want people to know that every face has a story, and every story matters. As an artist with Down Syndrome, my dream is to make the world more inclusive through my art. I hope when people look at Face, they feel connected, seen and reminded that we are all beautiful in our own way."
