"I usually like to do scenes from my surroundings, giving them an extraordinary touch. This piece of work is a regular scene from my school bus, while it moved slowly in heavy traffic at a junction. The fish monger had a big white plastic tub filled with large fish. In his shack there were many cats too. Once my mummy and I went there to have a closer view. All fish looked the same, their eyes had the dead expression. All the cats were different colours, moods, even in the way they kept their tails. I imagine here that the cats became caretakers of the big fish tub!"
