"When the Queen unfortunately passed away, I knew King Charles would be on the back of coins instead of Queen Elizabeth. I rang my mum shortly after learning about the Queen's passing to find out how long I had until I needed to get all my coins together to trade in for ones with the King on instead. Thankfully, through giggles, my mum explained how the natural change over of coins in circulation would work. This funny moment of misunderstanding and my everlasting instead in coins, as well as the English Monarchy, inspired the idea behind this Frankenstein collaged coin design of King Charles and Queen Elizabeth on a 50c Australian coin."
