"My artistic concepts explore the relationships between people and their urban, social, and cultural environments. The focus is particularly on identity, transitions, boundaries, time, emptiness, loneliness, sexuality, as well as mental and personality disorders. The work has a strong autobiographical connection to my own mental and personality disorders. These syndromes have significantly influenced my life since childhood. The inability to interact with my social environment in all situations has accompanied me since then. However, I have learned to view isolation and loneliness as familiar companions that protect me from the world—and vice versa."
