We are beyond happy that ArtWorks Together is back and bigger than ever for another year.
We had over 1000 entries from all over the globe in 2021 and we're keeping the momentum going. We are determined to continue to minimise the effect living with a learning disability and autism has on a person’s right to participate within the arts.

What should my art be about?
The artwork you submit can be about anything you enjoy. It could be a painting of yourself, a sculpture, an interesting make up look, a photograph, a film, an abstract painting or all of them put together!
Inspiration can come from all around us as artists, a favourite walk or place, family and friends or even the objects that we see everyday.
Creative block
We know that a lot of things can get in the way of being able to create art and we'd like to help you overcome these as much as possible. Our first blog post intends to give you the inspiration you need to get past the dreaded 'creative block'. Creative block is when you are unable to access your internal creativity and it can happen for many reasons.
We love this simple guide on steps to combatting creative block, but if you're after some visual guidance, we've put together a gallery of work to inspire you.
The gallery below contains submissions from ArtWorks 2021 mixed with work from the artists of ArtWorks South Yorkshire, our wonderful parent company. Artworks SY inspires and helps adults with learning disabilities to achieve their potential and develop important life skills through creative workshops and placements. Check out their website if you'd like to find out more!
